About the Clinician's Workday

The Interventional Radiology position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with some weeknight and weekend call. Providers can expect to see approximately 40 patients per day, performing a mix of arterial and venous angiographic procedures and related CT/IR/fluoro-guided procedures. This role is 100% IR and includes full-service arterial and venous angiographic procedures (trauma, GI bleeds, fistula/graft interventions, PE thrombectomy, TIPS, IVC filter), biliary interventions, cholecystostomy placement, and routine biopsies, drain placements, and nephrostomy tubes. Locum providers will also perform a mix of routine outpatient procedures and inpatient consults.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full-service interventional radiology and related CT/IR/fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
  • Carry a mix of outpatient procedures and inpatient consults.
  • Manage arterial and venous angiographic procedures (trauma, GI bleeds, fistula/graft interventions, PE thrombectomy, TIPS, IVC filter).
  • Include biliary interventions, cholecystostomy placement, biopsies, drain placements, and nephrostomy tubes.
