Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist I responsible for performing cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This role involves assisting physicians in diverse procedures and ensuring patient safety by adhering to established radiation standards.

The ideal candidate must hold relevant certifications such as ARRT-R and CMRT, with previous interventional experience preferred. The position requires on-call availability and travel within the Houston Metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist with Interventional experience preferred.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• CMRT certification for Texas state licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assist physicians with interventional and electrophysiology procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation standards and protocols.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
