Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville seeks a cardiovascular/EP support professional to assist in complex angiographic procedures and patient care. You will work under physicians, gaining exposure to TAVR, Watchman, and advanced devices while maintaining safety and teamwork.

The role requires flexibility in shifts, on-call duties, and proximity to campus, with part-time scheduling. Certification goals include RCIS within six months and RCES after two EP years.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Cath lab or EP lab experience is preferred but not required for those with cardiac education background.
• Two years in either Cath or EP is preferred, but not required.
• Licenses/certifications: ACLS & BLS; CVT or RTR. Must obtain RCIS within six months of hire. RCES is required after 2 years of EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Competence with equipment/tech including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy devices, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella.
• Maintain patient care per hospital/department policies; follow safety guidelines; foster teamwork through effective communication.
