Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a cardiovascular imaging professional to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart and related diseases. You will operate x-ray and physiologic equipment, assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, and maintain equipment and test records.

The role requires ARRT-R, Oregon radiologic license, CPR/BLS; ACLS or ARC-ALS is also expected. Preference given to those with catheterization experience and an Associate's degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience, preferred.
• One year catheterization experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during procedures and operate specialized equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain radiation safety and sterile technique.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate cardiac cath equipment and monitors.
• Assist during catheterization procedures and related imaging.
• Complete forms, record charges, and keep procedures area stocked and clean.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience

One year's catheterization experience (preferred)

ARRT-R Radiography certification (Required)

Oregon OBMI Radiologic Technologist License (Required in OR)

CPR or BLS certification (Required)

BLS per AH policy (Required)

AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (Required)
