Job summary

AdventHealth Castle Rock is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join the Day shift on a PRN basis. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, coordinate patient care, and ensure accurate record keeping in a high‑quality hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have invasive cardiovascular technology experience, BLS/ACLS, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Cardiac diagnostic/interventional experience preferred.
• Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and corrects recording instrument malfunctions.
• Independently prioritizes clinical and administrative work and identifies process improvements.
• Processes patient and department records, ensuring documentation of performed tests in accordance with hospital standards.
• Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status, responds appropriately, and intervenes or refers in a timely manner to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
