Job summary

Medicorp, Inc. in Texas is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a full-time, employed position connected to the Medical Center. Clinic operates Monday through Friday with an average of 25 patients in clinic and 10–15 surgeries per week to start.

The on-call schedule is approximately 3 days per month in coordination with the hospital. The candidate must hold MD or DO, be board eligible or board certified in Interventional Cardiology, and be licensed or eligible for a Texas medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board eligible or board certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Texas license or eligibility to practice in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology services including cath lab procedures.
• Clinic operates Monday–Friday with ~25 patients per day and ~10–15 surgeries per week initially.
• On-call ~3 days per month in coordination with Hospital and cardiology group; collaborate with Medical Center and Clinical Research Department; teaching opportunities with UT Rio Grande Valley.
