Optimum Permanent Placement Services partnered with a medical center in southern Ohio to recruit an Interventional Cardiologist to join its team. The role features a diverse mix of cath lab, inpatient, and outpatient responsibilities with a rotating schedule, 1:3 weekend call, and onboarding support from a large clinical staff.

Opportunity Details

Optimum has partnered with a medical center in southern Ohio that has an opening for a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join its team.

This role offers a diverse mix of cath lab, inpatient, and outpatient responsibilities, along with a collaborative team environment and competitive compensation.

Position Highlights

• Shifts: Monday-Thursday (7a-6p), half-day Fridays
• Rotating Schedule: 1 week in cath lab, 1 week of inpatient consults, 1 week in clinic
• Call Requirement: 1:3 weekend rotation and 1 night per week
• Some general call combined with STEMI
• Cath Lab Volume: 12-14 patients per day
• Inpatient Volume: 30-40 rounds per day
• Clinic Volume: 35 patients per day
• No structural cases
• Support Staff: 6 physicians, 9 APPs, 20 clinical staff, 2 EKG techs, and 14 clerical staff
• Must be board-certified
