Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing program in East Texas. The role focuses on expanding interventional capabilities with a balanced mix of cath lab and clinic duties, supported by a two interventional cardiologists team and a nurse practitioner.

You will work within hospital privileges at the main and south campuses, with visa sponsorship consideration for the right candidate and comprehensive malpractice, health, dental, and life

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Residency training completed in the U.S.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology required.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology services including cath lab procedures.

Position Highlights

• Employed Interventional Cardiology opportunity with BHS Physician's Network, Inc.
• Approximately 50% cath lab and 50% clinic/inpatient cardiology mix
• Dedicated interventional and cath lab time with flexible clinic scheduling
• Minimum call requirement of 7 days per month
• Average clinic volume of 25 to 30 patients per day
• Typical procedural volume of 4 to 6 cases per dedicated procedural day with growth potential
• Join a team of two interventional cardiologists, one general cardiologist, and one nurse practitioner
• Hospital privileges at Nacogdoches Medical Center Main Campus and South Campus
• Opportunity to help expand advanced interventional cardiology services and procedural capabilities in the region

Candidate Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
• Residency training completed in the U.S.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology required
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license and satisfy hospital and payer credentialing requirements
• Experience with coronary intervention, STEMI management, complex PCI, and development of interventional cardiology programs preferred
