Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Cardiology team at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital with coverage at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. The role focuses on pre-procedure prep and post-procedure recovery in a state-of-the-art lab, with immediate access to experienced APP peers and physicians.

The schedule is four 10-hour shifts weekly with some short shifts on weekends; no overnight coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Experienced Acute Care APP (PA, AGACNP, or ACNP) with 1–2 years of cardiology experience.
• License/Certification/Registration required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure prep and post-procedure recovery of Interventional Cardiology patients.
• Collaborate with experienced APP peers and physicians for learning and growth.
• Work four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating weekend coverage; no overnights.
