Job summary

St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group in Southern California is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join an innovative Interventional Cardiology program focused on CHIP and CTO procedures.

You will work with a skilled interventional cardiologist to build and expand a specialized program for complex coronary disease, with outpatient follow-up, pre-operative and inpatient consultations, and hospital rounding.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Cardiology experience required; interventional cardiology preferred.
• Experience managing complex cardiovascular patients preferred.
• Independent in a high-autonomy practice environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in program development and growing referral networks.
• Self-motivated, organized, and creative problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient follow-up care and pre-operative consultations.
• Inpatient consultations and hospital rounding.
• Care coordination and provider engagement.
• Outreach to support program growth and referrals.
• Participate in presentations and community outreach.
