Job summary

Britt Medical Search is assisting a growing cardiovascular program in southwest Missouri to recruit a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join an experienced team and expand access to advanced cardiovascular care.

The role offers a hospital-employed position with four modern cath labs, onsite CV surgery support, and APP assistance in both hospital and clinic settings. The catchment area reaches up to 400,000 people, with a balanced 1:7 call schedule and Epic EMR coming soon.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology.
• Experience in coronary and peripheral interventions.
• Strong teamwork with cardiology and CV surgery colleagues.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, multi-operator lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary and peripheral interventions as part of a six-physician interventional team.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgery for onsite CV surgery support.
• Participate in a balanced 1:7 call schedule and provide patient care.
• Utilize the hybrid OR/cath lab effectively and mentor APPs.
