Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in western Oregon. The role encompasses 24-hour general and STEMI call, inpatient care, and high-volume PCI/diagnostic angiograms with a team of cardiologists and an NP.

The position requires board certification or eligibility, BLS/ACLS/DEA, and travel is fully covered. Opportunity to enjoy Oregon’s natural scenery between shifts and to work with a dedicated recruitment team.

Formación

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology.
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA required.
• Experince with inpatient cardiology and PCI/invasive procedures preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Enter inpatient care for adults 18+ in a general/ICU setting.
• Perform STEMI activations, diagnostic angiograms and PCIs as needed.
• Provide daily consults and manage follow-up cardiology care.
• Collaborate with 3 general cardiologists, 2 interventional cardiologists, and NP.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and orders.

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in western Oregon with an opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist to assist with locum tenens coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour general and STEMI call, 7a-7a
• Setting: Inpatient
• Daily Volume: 5 consults on general call and 2-6 coronary angiograms
• Patient Population: Ages 18+
• Cases: STEMIs, diagnostic angiograms, PCIs, L&R heart caths, IVUS/FFR/IFR
• Team Structure: 3 General Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, and 1 NP
• Support Staff: Fully staffed office, 1 MA, anesthesia, and hospitalists
• EMR: Meditech
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA required
• Paid travel & expenses
