Job summary

Prosperity Placement Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular team serving Venice and North Port, Florida. The ideal candidate will perform interventional procedures, provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school, with completed fellowships.
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills in interventional cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform interventional procedures including PCI and stent placement.
• Pre- and post-procedural care and outcome follow-up.
• Interpret diagnostic tests: ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, imaging.
• Collaborate with primary care and hospital teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, options, and risk factors.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in call coverage.
