Job summary

El Camino Health Medical Network in Mountain View, CA is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiovascular team. The role emphasizes complex coronary and peripheral interventions, PCI, and collaborative patient care.

The candidate will participate in STEMI coverage, imaging interpretation (IVUS/OCT), and multidisciplinary rounds, while delivering high-quality, evidence-based medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Completion of an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active DEA license.
• California State Medical License or eligibility.
• Strong clinical, procedural and communication skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures, including PCI.
• Manage patients with complex coronary disease, ACS and vascular conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
• Participate in STEMI call coverage and cardiology call rotation.
• Interpret cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic studies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
