Job summary

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital seeks an interventional cardiologist to join the Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. This full‑time role offers a competitive base salary with an incentivized bonus structure and inclusion in a leading academic‑adjacent heart center.

Board certification/eligibility in interventional cardiology is required, with fellowship training and Texas licensure, enabling a mix of inpatient and outpatient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
• Texas medical licensure in good standing or ability to obtain.
• Ability to perform a broad range of interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures including angioplasty and stent placement.
• Conduct diagnostic catheterizations and intravascular imaging
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular diseases in a multidisciplinary team.
• Balance inpatient and outpatient duties with dedicated procedure and clinic time.

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-respected practice in Willowbrook, a rapidly growing area. Position Highlight

• Perform a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy, etc.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and intravascular ultrasounds.
• Participate in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care.
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient with designated procedure and clinic time.

Qualification

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology fellowship program.
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing.
• Candidates with experience or new residents/fellows are welcome to apply.
