Locum Tenens assignment in Michigan seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide day shift coverage with 24-hour weekend call across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings on-site.
The clinician must be board-certified in Interventional Cardiology and hold prescriptive authority, with the ability to respond to emergent cardiac needs and manage both inpatient and outpatient cardiac cases during assigned periods.
This facility holds a Level IV designation and maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology services across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing day shift, call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage across all assigned periods. Infrastructure is in place to ensure continuity of cardiac care delivery throughout each designated coverage period.
Michigan offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Coastal areas along Lake Michigan feature beaches, boardwalks, charter fishing, and live music venues, while inland regions provide opportunities for hiking, golf, and arts and culture. Notable attractions include geological landmarks such as Arch Rock on Mackinac Island, the museums and sculpture parks of Grand Rapids, and the extensive shoreline of the Thumbcoast region.
Clinicians will provide interventional cardiology coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings on an on-site basis, with clinic coverage during weekday hours and 24-hour call required on weekends. Clinical responsibilities include performing interventional cardiology procedures as credentialed by the facility, managing inpatient and outpatient cardiac cases, and maintaining continuous availability to respond to cardiac calls throughout each assigned coverage period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must be prepared for both scheduled and emergent cardiac needs. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
