LocumTenens.com seeks an Interventional Cardiologist for inpatient cardiology coverage in Nebraska. The clinician will perform daily rounds, add-on cardiac catheterizations, and STEMI/night call, with APP and Hospitalist support throughout each coverage period.
Clinic duties may be conducted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for consideration.
This full-service referral hospital maintains 175 beds and provides advanced trauma care along with a broad range of specialty services to a broad patient population. The facility maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support inpatient interventional cardiology services on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing day shift, call, and 24-hour call coverage across all assigned periods.
Nebraska offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to varied interests. The state features outdoor recreation opportunities, including access to scenic natural areas, state parks, and recreational trails, as well as cultural destinations and community events distributed across the state. Clinicians will find diverse options for leisure and exploration during time away from clinical responsibilities.
Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiology coverage, including daily rounds, add-on cardiac catheterizations, and STEMI/night call, with APP and Hospitalist support throughout each assigned coverage period. Call coverage is required and structured on a 1:3 call ratio, with clinicians expected to maintain continuous availability to respond to inpatient cardiac cases and perform interventional procedures as credentialed. When not covering the inpatient service, clinicians may also see patients in clinic Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for consideration.
