Job summary
Spencer Britt is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular team in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region, delivering advanced catheter-based care within a comprehensive heart program.
Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, imaging with IVUS/FFR/OCT, and potential leadership as the program expands, with opportunities for structural heart procedures based on expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- PCI, coronary angioplasty, stent placement and atherectomy
- Manage complex coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes
- Utilize advanced imaging including IVUS, FFR and OCT
- Opportunity for structural heart procedures (TAVR and MitraClip) based on expertise
- Participate in rotating interventional cardiology call
- Provide urgent care for STEMI and other emergent cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiac surgeons and teams
- Participate in clinical research, quality improvement and program development
- Opportunity for leadership as the cardiovascular program grows
