Job summary

Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join an established practice and take over for a retiring physician. The role features a 32-hour patient contact hour work week with one dedicated procedure day, a diverse mix of interventional cases, and a strong referral network from in-house primary care.

The team includes 6 General Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 11 APPs, with teaching opportunities for

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ACGME accredited Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
• Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform a mix of general and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Share 1:4 STEMI call equally among providers.
• Schedule includes one dedicated procedure day per week.
• Engage in teaching with Medical Students and Residents.
• Utilize EPIC EMR platform with ambient AI technology (Abridge).
