Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens cardiologists to provide coverage in various networks nationwide. Assignments include pacemaker implantation and comprehensive cardiac imaging, with on-site and remote support as needed.

Expect 7–10 days of coverage per month and 6–15 patients per day (8 in the Cath Lab). Weatherby offers paid malpractice insurance, travel and housing, and full scheduling support through our consultant team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret echocardiograms, EKGs, and Holter monitors.
• Experience with nuclear stress tests and cardiac CT scans.
• Pacemaker implantation knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• 7–10 days of coverage per month.
• 6–15 patients per day with 8 patients per day in the Cath Lab.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
• Weatherby Healthcare consultant available 24 hours a day.

• Nuclear stress tests and cardiac CT scans required

• Implantable loop recorders -- preferred but not required
