Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is recruiting for locum tenens physicians to cover inpatient and outpatient needs in the United States, including New Mexico. The role includes 24/7 access to a Weatherby consultant, with STEMI call coverage and on-call responsibilities.

Assignments require fellowship completion and ACLS/BLS certification. You will work in an inpatient hospital setting with on-site rounding and patient volumes of about 7–10 per shift. Travel and housing are often prepaid by Weatherby.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required for hospital assignments.
• Experience in inpatient hospital settings and on-call shifts.
• Fellowship in a relevant specialty is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Clinic with 24-hour on-call coverage.
• Manage 7–10 patients per shift in a hospital setting.
• Inpatient and outpatient rounding responsibilities.
• STEMI call coverage is required and expected.
• Provide call coverage as part of locum assignments.
