On-call periods average 3 patients with ~10 daily phone consults; fellowship in interventional cardiology is required and the hospital is stroke-certified.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in interventional cardiology required.
• MD or DO with valid medical license.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on approximately 10 patients per shift and managing admissions.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care with timely beeper responses.
• Respond to beeper calls within 45 minutes and provide 1:1 call coverage.
• Handle about 3 patients during call periods and ~10 phone consults per day.
• Document time entry and updates via online portal.
