Job summary

Georgia Heart Institute (GHI), in partnership with Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS), seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a thriving program in Gainesville, Georgia. The role offers collaboration with 100+ cardiologists and extensive on-call support.

Candidate will lead interventional procedures, participate in a robust research and teaching environment, and contribute to a leading cardiovascular network in North Georgia.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• Board Certified in Cardiology and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Strong technical skills in interventional procedures and patient management.
• Experience with complex coronary interventions and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Familiarity with IVUS, OCT and FFR imaging modalities.
• Passion for quality and patient care
• Team orientation and ability to support organizational goals

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy and other catheter-based treatments.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency cardiac interventions.
• Provide overnight advanced practitioner support for admissions and consults.
• Contribute to a busy structural program including aortic, mitral and tricuspid interventions.
