Job summary

Commonwealth Medical Services in Michigan is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular team. The role balances outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds and complex interventional procedures within a comprehensive program that includes research and advanced clinical services.

You will participate in a 1:4 weekend call rotation, work with an APP-supported team, and contribute to resident education across a well-equipped cardiovascular

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, and interventional procedures.
• Utilize advanced cardiac support devices (Impel la, intra-aortic balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers).
• Participate in a high-volume interventional practice (approx. 125–150 diagnostic & interventional procedures per month).
• Support therapies for refractory angina (EECP).
• Engage in clinical research and cardiovascular clinical trials.
• Share call equally within the group (1:4 weekend rotation).
• Educate residents/trainees as applicable.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team with APP support.
