Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Meridian, MS is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our established program. You will perform both coronary and peripheral interventions and have access to OBL/ASC settings. A pathway to partnership and equity is available within a physician-led organization.

The ideal candidate has completed a U.S. residency and is Mississippi-licensure eligible, with strong autonomy and support from APCs and leadership.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology.
• Wants high-volume practice with established patient/referral base.
• Interested in performing both coronary and peripheral interventions.
• Value access to OBL/ASC procedural settings.
• Opportunity to build long-term equity through partnership.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage the hospital’s cardiovascular service line and cath labs.
• Perform coronary and peripheral interventions.
• Collaborate with APCs for 24/7 Virtual Care Center support.
• Lead and participate in clinical leadership and operations.
