Job summary

The Rane Center in the Dallas area is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team. The physician will diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease using catheter-based procedures and provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care.

In this role you will perform coronary angiography and PCI, participate in cath lab procedures, and collaborate with surgeons, EPs, and primary care physicians.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• Ideally RPVI and Coronary CTA accreditation.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Must hold a Texas medical license.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular disease.
• Perform coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Conduct structural cardiology interventions (depending on practice scope).
• Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, ECGs, and cardiac imaging studies.
• Participate in hospital call coverage.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, and primary care physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
