Job summary

NOW Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a well-established healthcare system in Statesville, NC, about 45 minutes from Charlotte. You will join a group of three cardiologists and three APPs, performing complex coronary interventions, PCI, and diagnostic procedures in a Cerner EMR environment.

Qualifications

• NC Medical License and DEA, eligible.
• BE/BC Fellowship trained interventional cardiologist.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary interventions (artery & blood flow) and diagnostic cardiac catheterization and angiography.
• Conduct PCI/angioplasty and coronary stenting as required.
• Engage in intravascular imaging and physiology assessments; collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Role Description:

• Interventional Cardiologist
• Location: Statesville, NC
• Employed Position
• Group has 3 Cardiologists and 3 APPs.
• Clinic Schedule: (Mon-Th 8: 30 - 5pm) closed for lunch from 12-1. (Friday 8: 30 - 1pm)
• Call is shared between our group and another local organization.
• EMR: Cerner
• We are looking for a Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide patients with high-quality treatment.
• Coronary Interventions (Artery & Blood Flow), Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization & Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) / AngioplastyCoronary Stenting, Atherectomy
• Intravascular Imaging & Physiology
• Peripheral Vascular Interventions - Peripheral Angioplasty & Stenting, Carotid Artery Stenting (CAS)
• Network boasts 27 practices, comprised of 12 primary care clinics, 10 specialty groups, 3 ambulatory surgery centers and 2 urgent cares.

Requirements:

• NC Medical License and DEA, eligible
• Must be BE/BC
• Requires current BLS Certification
• No board sanctions or actions in last 10 years
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
• Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
