Job summary

Emerald Coast is seeking two full-time Interventional Cardiologists to join its established team serving Destin, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach and Crestview.

The role includes coronary angiography and PCI, complex coronary and peripheral interventions, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and preventive cardiology within a collaborative, physician-led environment. Shared on-call duties (1:5) support comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology required.
• MD or DO medical degree required, Florida licensure preferred.
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology training.
• Experience with both coronary and peripheral interventions encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary angiography and PCI.
• Conduct complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.

Interventional Cardiologist

Position Overview

A growing physician-led cardiovascular practice in Okaloosa County Florida is seeking two full-time Interventional Cardiologists to join its established team serving patients throughout Destin, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, and Crestview.

Key responsibilities/services include:

• Coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Complex coronary interventions
• Peripheral vascular interventions
• Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
• General cardiology services including ECG interpretation, echocardiography, and stress testing
• Preventive cardiology and longitudinal cardiovascular care

The physician will work closely with fellow cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care throughout the region.

Shared STEMI and general cardiology call responsibilities are divided equally among the physician team with a 1:5 call rotation.
