Structural heart training is not required, and the role emphasizes coronary and peripheral interventions within a private practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Coronary interventional training.
• Strong peripheral vascular/endovascular skills or interest in peripheral intervention.
• Ability to manage both cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
• Structural heart training is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation and rounding at a hospital with interventional capabilities.
• Function as a consultative team member with hospitalists and PCPs.
• Share call coverage approximately 1:4–1:5; respond to urgent interventional cases as needed (e.g., STEMI, acute limb ischemia).
