Job summary

UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC seeks an Interventional Cardiologist to join a community-based practice of General, Interventional, and EP Cardiologists, Cardiology Fellows, Thoracic & Vascular Surgeons, and APPs.

Clinic hours: Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:00pm, Fri 8:00am-1:00pm; 1:4 call; 1 cath lab day per week; EPIC EMR; inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiovascular care with dedicated APPs. Teaching fellows and residents is available.

Qualifications

• Licensed DO/MD in NC or eligible.
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology.
• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health southeastern.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including PCI and related imaging.
• Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care with support from APPs.
• Educate and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students.
