Job summary

Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, WA seeks a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join an established team and take over for a retiring physician. The position includes a 32-hour patient contact week, one dedicated procedure day, and a robust referral network from in-house primary care providers.

The ideal candidate will be board eligible/certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, hold a WA license, and have an ACGME-accredited interventional fellowship.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
• Active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
• Active Washington State license before starting.

Responsibilities

• See a mix of general and interventional cardiology patients and perform procedures at Skagit Valley Hospital.
• Share 1:4 STEMI call among the providers.
• Schedule includes one dedicated procedure day per week; limited peripheral cases available.
• Teaching opportunities with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from SRH Residency Programs.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform with ambient AI tech (Abridge).
