Job summary

The Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to help develop its Interventional Cardiology program at its Issaquah campus, in collaboration with the Cherry Hill campus.

The program emphasizes safe, compassionate, evidence-based care; you will participate in the pulmonary embolism response team and cardiogenic shock response team, and collaborate across specialties to advance research and clinical excellence in the Seattle area.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a recognized medical or osteopathic school.
• Board certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
• Fellowship training in high-risk coronary intervention.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead percutaneous treatment of ischemic heart disease.
• Participate in PERT and Shock team services.
• Advance process improvements in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgery, vascular medicine, critical care and cardiac anesthesia.
