Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist / Medical Director for a full-time opportunity in Wethersfield Area, Connecticut. The role leads interventional strategy and Cath Lab performance within a cardiovascular program.

The position focuses on clinical quality, program development, operational oversight, research and fellowship education, with a daytime schedule and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of post-fellowship clinical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in a large, complex cardiovascular program or health system.
• Connecticut medical license or eligibility.
• Current CV required.

Aufgaben

• Lead Interventional Cardiology strategy and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory performance across the cardiovascular program.
• Set evidence-based clinical standards and lead quality, safety and benchmark-performance improvement.
• Oversee Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory access, capacity, workflow, regulatory compliance, technology adoption and capital planning.
• Partner on clinician recruitment, referral networks, budgeting and resource use.
• Expand clinical trials and investigator-led research while supporting fellowship education and multidisciplinary training.
