Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our medical staff. You will provide comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services, including diagnostic catheterization and PCI, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The hospital has a well-established cardiology program and is part of Prime Healthcare, serving Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia region.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Current DEA and ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide consultative cardiology services for hospitalized patients and collaborate with hospitalists, emergency physicians, and primary care providers.
• Interpret diagnostic studies including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging.
• Participate in cardiovascular quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols.
• Participate in on-call coverage for cardiology services as assigned.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, cath lab staff, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Support teaching opportunities and educational activities when applicable.

Education

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Residency in Internal Medicine (accredited)

Fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology (accredited)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology

Pennsylvania medical licensure eligibility

DEA and ACLS certification

Strong clinical skills and patient-centered care
