Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join UNC Cardiology at Kinston, a growing program in eastern North Carolina. The role offers a mix of interventional and general cardiology, a new cath lab opening March 2026, and strong institutional support.

Schedule includes clinic five days per week with protected time and shared call. The position features a guaranteed base salary with RVU production bonus, quality incentives, sign-on, relocation

Qualifications

• Board certification requirements for Interventional Cardiology, including eligibility or certification.
• Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology as preferred.
• Licensure and certifications (NC license, DEA, ACLS) are required or supported.

Responsibilities

• mixture of interventional and general cardiology based on candidate interest and skill.
• Perform PCI with plans for STEMI coverage and growth in peripheral/structural services.
• Share on-call duties (14 days) with UNC cardiology partners and community providers.
• New cath lab opening March 2026 with advanced equipment; extensive team support.
