Job summary

The successful candidate will be board certified or eligible, complete residency, and maintain license in Texas, with current BLS or higher; ACLS and DEA requirements apply under bylaws. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Completion of residency program from the time of graduation from medical school; explanation in writing if beyond traditional time.
• Board certification in the specialty or eligibility for board certification.
• Must obtain board certification in accordance with Medical-Dental Staff bylaws.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive specialty health care to a population with multiple health care needs in the University Health network of ambulatory care centers.
• Maintain current Texas medical license and comply with licensure and certification requirements (BLS).
