Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Tucson is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. This full-time opportunity combines high-quality clinical care, collaboration across cardiovascular subspecialties, and the teaching and scholarly mission of an academic medical center.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary cardiology practice of approximately 29 providers, perform coronary angiography

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Arizona medical license.
• Eligibility for medical staff membership and clinical privileges at Banner University Medical Center Tucson.
• Current or obtainable DEA registration.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care, teamwork, professionalism, and education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered interventional and general cardiovascular care across the inpatient and outpatient continuum.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure management.
• Partner with general cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, imaging, and surgery teams.
• Contribute to education, supervision, and development of fellows, residents, and students.
• Engage in scholarly work, quality improvement, and program development within the cardiovascular program.
