Job summary

Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our Cardiology program in Joplin, Missouri. The team includes interventional, structural, EP and non-invasive specialists with extensive NP/PA support.

The position offers a 1-year income guarantee at $800K, sign-on/commencement incentives up to $50,000, and generous PTO and holidays. Occurrence-based liability coverage and PSLF eligibility are included.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology services for Mercy Hospital Joplin's patients.
• Collaborate with Mercy Joplin Cardiology team to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
• Interpret noninvasive studies including EKG, Echo, stress tests and nuclear medicine studies.
• Manage call coverage as part of the department on a 5–8 day per month cycle.
• Support a large catchment area through outreach by NPs and PAs.
