Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks an MD to cover inpatient interventional cardiology in Oregon on a 24-hour call basis. The assignment runs from January 6, 2027 and continues ongoing, with on-site support and a fully staffed environment to manage STEMI and routine cardiology cases.

Qualifications

• Inpatient interventional cardiology experience preferred.
• Ability to manage STEMI and post-procedure care.
• Experience with 24-hour on-call coverage is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour call basis (7:00 AM–7:00 AM).
• Perform coronary angiograms and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs).
• Manage STEMI and general cardiology cases; ensure smooth patient sign-off and handoffs.
• Coordinate with clinic support staff to maintain patient flow and care quality.
• Remain available to respond to inpatient cardiac emergencies during designated shifts.
