Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing currently seeks an experienced interventional cardiologist to provide travel coverage in Eureka, United States. This on-call opportunity requires 24-hour beeper coverage, in-hospital management of acute cases, and collaboration with hospital staff.

Candidates must have BC/BE in cardiology, a valid DEA, and active BLS/ACLS certificates with several years in interventional cardiology.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in cardiology with 3–5 years post-residency experience preferred.
• DEA license active.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of several years in interventional cardiology; new graduates not considered.
• At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage on a call-only basis, including 24-hour beeper call.
• Manage inpatient interventional cardiology cases and respond to emergency consults.
• Perform nuclear cardiology reading and NUC activity as needed.
• Deliver both interventional (75%) and noninvasive (25%) cardiology care.
• Maintain active fluoro certification and respond to calls within 20 minutes.
