Job summary

Providence Heart Institute in Montana is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join a team of specialists serving Dillon and Butte. The role focuses on coronary diagnostics and elective coronary intervention with no hospital call requirements, and offers a mix of clinic and lab days with strong support from Missoula and Hamilton.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, a passion for outreach, and a track record in training and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Interventional cardiologist with board certification or board-eligible status.
• Experience in coronary diagnostics and elective coronary intervention preferred.
• Ability to work in a rural, outreach-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interpret echoes, stress echoes, and heart rhythm monitors as needed.
• Represent Providence Heart Institute as a cardiology provider and program ambassador.
• Provide education to peers in rural communities to support team-building.

Providence is seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Interventional Cardiologist to join the greater dedicated team of 14 other cardiologists and 3 cardiothoracic surgeons at the Heart Institute of Montana. This opportunity is split between Dillon & Butte, Montana. Seeking someone with a passion for outreach and serving rural locations with the exciting opportunity to build this program. This position is for an Interventional Cardiologist only and will not be doing structural work.

The expectations of the position are specific on each campus and may include but are not limited to supervision and interpretation of echo's, stress echo's, and heart rhythm monitors. This position requires the ability to represent the Providence Heart Institute as both a cardiac care provider, and an ambassador for the programs. Providing education to peers in rural communities is essential to the team building aspect of this position. The position will be supported by peers in Missoula and Hamilton. This position is not a hospital position and does not have call. Although there is an opportunity to support those functions, it is not a requirement.

• 4 day a week schedule with a mix of clinic days in Dillon at Barret Hospital & HealthCare and lab days in Butte at St. James Hospital
• No call requirements
• Base salary plus production/incentive
