Job summary

Josh Pros LLC is recruiting on behalf of a North Carolina healthcare organization for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its cardiovascular team. The physician will diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and perform catheter-based procedures to restore blood flow and improve patient outcomes.

Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and AP providers to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
• Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coronary angiography and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Perform PCI, including angioplasty and stent placement.
• Evaluate and manage coronary artery disease, ACS, MI and other CV conditions.
• Provide emergency cardiac care, including STEMI management per protocols.
• Assess patients before procedures and monitor recovery and outcomes.
• Interpret relevant tests and imaging studies.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies.
• Participate in call coverage, inpatient consultations and outpatient services.

Position Overview

The physician will diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and perform catheter-based procedures to restore blood flow, manage acute cardiac conditions, and improve patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other clinical professionals to provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including angioplasty and stent placement.
• Evaluate and manage coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, myocardial infarction, and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Provide emergency cardiac care, including STEMI management, according to hospital protocols.
• Assess patients before procedures and monitor recovery, complications, and treatment outcomes.
• Interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical standards and hospital policies.
• Participate in call coverage, inpatient consultations, and outpatient clinic services as required.
