Harlingen Medical Center is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our established cardiology program. Responsibilities include performing key interventional cardiology procedures and collaborating with various medical teams to enhance patient care. Qualified candidates must hold an MD or DO and be fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology.

Qualifications

• Must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology is required.
• Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterizations.
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Position Overview

Harlingen Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join an established cardiology program. This role offers strong interventional volume and dedicated cath lab support.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterizations and coronary interventions
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
• Collaborate with cardiology, emergency medicine, and hospitalist teams
• Participate in STEMI call coverage as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Eligible for or active Texas medical license
• DEA license or eligibility
