Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, NV, seeks an experienced radiology professional to support interventional procedures and diagnostic imaging in the Cath lab. You will assist physicians during angiography and other invasive procedures in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires two years of cath lab experience or RCIS/ARRT credentials, BLS certification, and eligibility for Nevada radiology licensure. On-call duties may apply as part of a 24-hour hospital operation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiology technology program.
• Two years experience in a cardiac Cath lab for RCIS-certified individuals or two years in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT.
• BLS certification; NV radiology license and ARRT/RCIS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid.
• Perform diagnostic exams in interventional radiology; assist with angiography and other invasive procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, aseptic technique and readiness of equipment.
• On-call based on hospital needs.
