Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in invasive cardiovascular procedures to join the Cath Lab Imaging Team.

You will perform percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and assist with open surgeries under physician supervision. Responsibilities include obtaining optimal radiographs, maintaining aseptic technique, monitoring patients, and staying current with cardiovascular equipment.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program is required.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification.
• Upon hire: ARRT Radiography certification.
• Upon hire: Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification.
• Upon hire: American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Upon hire: American Heart Association ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and open surgical procedures under physician supervision.
• Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in an aseptic environment.
• Monitor patient and respond to changes in condition as needed.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of complex cardiovascular equipment and assist with its use.
• Be available for on-call shifts as necessary.
