Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an Interventional Angiography Technologist to join the Angiography & IR Lab. You will perform life-saving procedures, work with radiologists, and participate in on-call rotations requiring proximity to the hospital.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with advanced imaging and teamwork across the IR suite and trauma center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology, required.
• Graduate of accredited school of radiology, required.
• Associate degree or bachelor's in a clinically related health science field, required.
• ACLS obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED, required.
• ARRT-R, RCIS, or RCES certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, following Level 1 Trauma Center and stroke facility protocols.
• Provide scrub assistance using aseptic technique as a technical resource.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and radiology principles to support procedures.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology

Graduate of accredited school of radiology

Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of employment start date

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date

High School Graduate / GED

ARRT-R, RCIS, or RCES certification within 6 months of employment

Interventional Angiography Technologist

Become a key player in our Angiography & Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab, where cutting-edge imaging technology and specialized expertise are used to treat a wide range of conditions, including trauma, stroke interventions, and vascular issues. As a team member, you’ll work alongside expert radiologists and healthcare professionals to perform life‑saving procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and emergency interventions in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.

This position required on-call during the week and weekends (in a rotation) and must be within 30 minutes from the hospital.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Assists with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to the patient and team members according to the departmental protocols for a Level 1 Trauma Center and DNV Designate Comprehensive Stroke facility.

Functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance using aseptic technique.

Requires detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology

• Graduate of accredited school of radiology

• Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• High School Graduate / GED

• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
