Job summary

Catapult Learning in Hillsborough County, FL is hiring a Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are offered as part-time (10–25 hours) or full-time (30–35 hours) with sessions during regular school hours; pay is $26 per hour and roles span grades K-12 across district schools.

You will instruct Reading/ELA and Math in small groups, use company materials, develop skill-appropriate lesson plans, supervise students, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills through company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction, engage students, grow professionally, and track progress with accurate academic records.
• Other duties as assigned.
