Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks a Part-Time Intervention Specialist (K-8) to provide small-group math and reading support in Miami-Dade County. The position is during regular school hours for the 2026-2027 school year, with approximately 14 hours weekly at St. Lawrence/St.

Patrick locations, possibly combined. Certified or experienced non-certified teachers are welcome. Responsibilities include delivering Catapult’s curriculum, creating lesson plans, supervising students, and communicating with parents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach Math and or Reading to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math & Reading to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting using Catapult's proven curriculum.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (attendance, pre/post testing, progress reports, communications, and compliance).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms and files as required by agencies.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Intervention Specialist (K-8) - 26-27' School Year Miami-Dade County, FL Pay: $27 per hour Current Openings: St. Lawrence Zip Code: 33180 Position: Math Intervention Grades: 3–8 Schedule: Tues & Fri (Approximately 14 hours per week) St. Patrick Zip Code: 33140 Position: Reading and Math Intervention Grades: 1–3 Schedule: Mon & Thurs (Approximately 7 hours per week) Blessed Trinity Zip Code: 33166 Position: Part-Time Math Intervention Grades: 3–8 Schedule: Tues & Thurs (Approximately 14 hours a week) *Please note: St. Lawrence and St. Patrick may be combined to create one position serving both school locations.

Position Details: Catapult Learning is seeking certified teachers or non-certified teachers with more than five years of experience, to provide small-group intervention servoces to K-8 grade students in Miami-Dade County schools.

• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.
