• Maintain confidentiality at all times adhering to professional ethics and standards
• Prepare for interpretation assignments by researching relevant terminology and topics
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences for interpretation style
• Remain up-to-date with changes in language usage and cultural norms

Requirements

• Fluency in English and at least one other language Spanish Chinese French preferred
• Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
• Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages with the ability to convey tone and context accurately
• Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs of both languages
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure
