Job summary

SMX is seeking a Security Cooperation Advisor to contribute to defense modernization and allied interoperability across INDOPACOM. You will apply C4 expertise to develop and execute roadmaps that improve interoperability with partner militaries and coordinate across multinational staffs to ensure information systems are mission-ready.

The role requires a TS clearance w/SCI eligibility, US citizenship, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in U.S. military C4 or network-enabled operations.
• 10+ years in security cooperation or foreign military engagement.
• 5+ years on Joint/Combatant Command or Component Command staff.
• Active TS clearance w/SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active passport with travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute interoperability and modernization plans.
• Liaise with U.S. and partner nation staffs to align with DoD objectives.
• Coordinate with acquisition to enable secure C4 capabilities.
• Analyze architectures to identify connectivity improvements.
• Represent the organization at multinational forums and events.
